How to create and manage an AOL email account?

1. Go to the account security page of AOL.
2. Click on the option of change password
3. Type the new password and click Continue.

How to manage my AOL Username?

The AOL username that you choose will give you a pass to access the AOL mail account and other premium services. All the characters that appear before the @ Symbol is a part of your username. If you want to know about the non-AOL email address then it is your entire e-mail address. 

You can delete your username at any time but always remember to cancel all the subscriptions before deleting your username. 

Always keep in mind before making an AOL account that once you create an AOL username you cannot go back and change it. So make the best of this and select an appropriate one.

There was an option to restore the previously deleted usernames but it was removed in 2017. Therefore you can only have 1 username per AOL account and if you want another username, you have to create a separate account.

Now let's discuss the Master Username. It is the username which we came up with when we created the first account. AOL used to give options to add and remove usernames but now they don't. As after 2017, each username is considered an account so you will have to delete each username separately.

You can see the usernames which are related to your email account. All the master usernames which you use from 2017 are now considered their own user accounts. Go to myaccount.aol.com and go to the section named username. Here check if you have any secondary usernames available if so then remove those as you cannot delete your account if he old usernames are there.

You can also delete the security questions from your account. Just go to the account info page and navigate through Account Security>Disable security questions>Secure my account>Continue.
